FREE class for Parents with teens preparing for
DRIVER'S EDUCATION
Dear parent,
Congratulations. Your teenager has reached the ultimate age... Driving age. Are you prepared for this?
Here are a few questions to think about:
-
Do you know all of the state guidelines that all students under the age of 18 must follow in order to obtain their driver license?
-
Are you aware of the mandatory 50 hours that you must spend driving with your new driver prior to them getting their license?
-
Are you ready to provide your son or daughter with good examples of driving - the correct way?
If you are unsure of the answer to any of these questions or have any other questions about driver's education, maybe we can help.
Driving Academy of Ohio, L.L.C. is offering a free informational class to parents of beginning drivers. This class is offered on the first Sunday of each month at 7:00 pm.
During this hour long session, we cover topics such as the Graduated Drivers License laws, basic traffic law refreshers, teaching techniques that we use and some that you can use when riding with your teens. This also gives you a chance to ask any question, meet us and see our classroom facilities.
Your teen does not have to be registered for our classes in order for you to attend this class. Parent class attendance is voluntary. Attending the free parent class puts you under no additional obligations.
Driving Academy of Ohio is located at 1225 North Main Street, North Canton (across from the post office). Call for additional information or reservation.
Parental involvement is essential during the driver education process. We encourage parents to attend this free class so that they will have a better understanding of the drivers education process outside of their responsibilities. We also invite parents to attend any of our regular student classes or listen in on the classes in our parent waiting room.
